"Was great for a resort. Onsite restaurants have great food and amazing views. Contstant piped in music (all throughout the resort— on the beaches, the pools, the walkways, etc) was a downside but they might be par for the course on a resort. Biggest downside was that there is no hot tub on the premises. This might change as some of the resort is still under construction. Biggest upside is the amazing views and the wonderful staff. Everyone was not only polite, but helpful, and friendly. "

"The pictures online do not do this place justice. Tucked between two larger hotels, it’s like an oasis. Our room in particular had a grassy lawn facing the water, was spotless and well appointed. Small beach, pool and sandy area (volleyball court) is adjacent to a dock and boat launch for interesting views. Lots of iguanas and a local rooster completes the ambiance. "

"My husband and I traveled to Amara Cay Resort for a 4 night stay and were very impressed with the whole experience. The room was very clean and comfortable. The food, drinks and service were excellent as well. We loved the reusable water bottles they gave us at check in, I have never been offered that before and thought it was a smart idea!
