"What a great, historical building, complete with the old school bell! Lovely, quiet setting with front and back porches. Spacious rooms. Loved the sun room. Loved watching the birds, deer, and chipmunks in the backyard, overlooking the stream and meadow. Perfect property for the full ADK experience!"

"This was the perfect woods home. Close to hiking, biking, the Ausable Chasm, Lake Placid, Whiteface - whatever we were looking to do, it was a short drive away. The pool and hot tub were great, although a bit cold as we were there later in the season."

"We loved this beautiful home! It was spacious enough for our whole family with teens, had everything we needed, we loved the hot tub and fire pit after a long day of hiking. Jay was a great place to stay. Great restaurants nearby.Very comfortable, wonderful place!"

"With a great kitchen, dining room, two separate living rooms and four bedrooms, this place has plenty of room for a group of 4 to 6 people. The sauna in the yard worked great and small fire pit had seats for four. My only tip would be to bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper, because it is on route 9. It’s not a very busy road, but you will hear cars on and off all day and night."

"Such a beautiful well maintained property! It was equipped with everything we needed (except food 😆) The beds were extremely comfortable, everything worked as it should, the fireplace was warm & inviting & with plenty of wood to keep those fires burning! The only problem was, you cannot use the dvd player. It is a dvd/vhs player & is too old to work with the newer tv. We brought our Roku so it didn't matter… We will definitely be back! "We loved our stay in this cozy farmhouse. A few key items were missing in the kitchen: wine glasses, good knives, kitchen towels, jcloths. Also not enough seating to sit down for dinner together. We ate With the adults sitting around the couch and the kids at the small round table. "

"We were looking for a nice rustic cabin to spend the holidays and this was perfect. The home is on a nice quiet street. It’s also about 10-15 minutes away from Whiteface- perfect for ski days. The host was helpful/responsive and allowed us to bring our dog. The hot tub and sauna were great amenities to enjoy. Thank you for a great experience. "
