"Wonderful hotel beautiful room and housekeeping excellent. We were upgraded to a room that allowed drinks and canapés in the Cornwallis lounge. Fantastic location walking distance to the street art and Chew Jetty. Buffet in the evening is excellent value and the breakfast amazing. Staff also wonderful cannot fault this!"

"The staff was courteous and helpful. Their service was superb and friendly. Once we asked for extra towels and we forgot to disable the do-not-disturb switch. Then I suddenly realized that and looked out the peek hole, and was astonished to find the room service staff standing patiently waiting for me. I was very apologetic and very grateful for their dedication. The view from our room was excellent. The only setback from our experience was the parking: (1) we had to go to the reception to validate the parking pass every time we were leaving the parking garage. Sometimes there was a line at the reception and we had to wait for other guests to check in to the hotel before the staff could validate our parking pass. That wasn't a good way to get out of the garage, and a problem if you are on a time crunch. (2) If you park in the multistorey garage instead of the basement, you will have to drive up the multilevel spiral ramp untill you get to the top floor to park. You just go round and round nonstop until you reach the top. The spiral ramp is not very wide so we were worried about scratching our vehicle going up or down the ramp. In general, it was a pretty good hotel and we appreciated the space in our room and the washer/dryer that were inside the room. We would stay here again despite the parking inconvenience that was described above."

"The staff was helpful. We were able to borrow unbrellas which was useful. Conveniently located to a hawkers stand delicious. Had maps so street art was found. Need a map for the walking tour which was fun but could only find it on our phone. Need to post ideas so people could see more actuvities in this wonderful city."

"Our stay was wonderful. Room was clean and has toiletries and slippers in case you forgot them at home. We did not have a car so parking wasn’t required but I was told that it’s difficult to find parking in Penang. On the hotels.com description it says close to shopping Center which I think is referring to Time square however that mall is closed. There are other shopping areas just a little farther away. The street where the hotel is located. The food stalls open at night and you can gets some pretty tasty food there as well as fresh juices "
