"Just spent a wonderful 2 night stay here with my partner. Everything was amazing we stayed in room 1. A beautiful upstairs corner room with a lovely view and sun all afternoon. The room was spotless with a lovely comfy bed there was everything we needed and it was very quiet. The bathroom is a little snug if you’re a larger person but again spotless with a great shower. Breakfast was delicious and everyone who worked there so friendly and helpful. We met Sue one of the owners on the last day...

"The room was very clean and spacious. We stayed for two nights — it was quite cold the first night, but the staff were very responsive. After we let them know, they brought us an additional heater the next day. Great service!"

"Only slight criticism is id like bacon and proper sausages for breakfast, however location was good. Free parking. We got some fresh cookies on arrival which were amazing. Id definitely stay here again if im ever in penrith. Mark was an amazing host. "

"This was a last minute booking due to the fabulous weather forecast and it did not disappoint. Lovely welcome our room was spotlessly clean very comfy with everything we needed for a relaxed 2 night stay. Close to the centre of lovely Keswick some great walk. Breakfast was fabulous too."

"It is such a beautiful and peaceful place. The lodge was very clean, spacious and well equipped. Walking along the lake is beautiful. There's lots of nice activities too so especially for children. We took a speed boat in the lake which was exciting. We enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi, the minigolf, playing ping pong and the arcade. The food in the restaurant was delicious too. We'll definitely be going again :)"

"Stayed here a few times and can't know it... Great location, allows pets, great value, kitchenettes in the rooms are super handy... parking can be a bit tricky when busy, and the rooms a bit toasty.... But other than that it's a great stay."
