"Convenient location off the motorway near Kendal, less east of travelling north. Wasn’t clear if there was specific parking and couldn’t park close to doors so difficult with luggage. Rooms were a bit tired and needs some maintenance. Staff were friendly. Recommend purchasing food at the services further north as only Costa and McDonald’s available "

"The staff were great. Really made my stay better. Last minute booking to avoid camping in the torrential weather and the girls working were very helpful with everything. Had an awesome night sleep. Reasonably priced for the comfort provided and breakfast was great! Would stay again. "

"Very comfortable room and quiet considering it was a public house. Slight noise from being on a main road but I live in a very rural area so any noise will be noticeable for me! Very friendly and helpful staff."
