"We really enjoyed our stay here. They have bikes you can use, beach chairs and beach towels. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The building is a bit old, as is the carpet. It could use some cleaning. There was a bit of mold above the air conditioner and the frig needed defrosting. But it is good value for the money and the location is great."

"Aloha. Yes the Kauai inn is a very historically old property and the rooms could use an update remodel but are spotless with a good foam mattress and all in perfect working condition. I understand a few rooms have been remodeled. I suggest that you request a room on first floor with a patio out the back. Only a few buildings have patios. Wonderful thick beach towels and even a new beach chair was available to borrow. It is very quiet in an area on a less travelled road to get to but only 10...

"Beautiful boutique hotel with a relaxing vibe. All staff team members were great and very accomodating to all of our needs. Would like to especially applaud Dawn at the front desk, night shift . We didn't quite change over to the time zone and she was such a delight in the early morning hours, even grabbing coffee for me before Normal Cafe hours . A true delight was an invitation for wine tasting by the lovely owners and their children . These special touches sealed the deal for us, we will...

"The property was beautiful. The rooms were very accommodating and nice. There was hair left on the shower wall from the previous guest....and we had them clean the room one day and the dishwasher was not emptied after we ran it. "
