"Good hotel with amazingly clean rooms. Room was big and recently renovated, lots of space and nice touches like tea and coffee in the room. Big windows let in loads of natural light, and opening windows allowed fresh air which was nice. The location allows for easy access and parking, and then it's a very short walk to the centre of the historic town. Friendly team and good breakfast. As some other people commented, no, they don't speak English - but it turns out the hotel is in Germany, so...

For some reason my hotels.com booking was not found by the receptionist when we checked in which was somewhat concerning. The night receptionist gave us two single rooms when we had booked one double. This became an issue when we were checking out as we were charged a higher amount than we had booked for. Eventually after much discussion it was resolved thankfully. I would stay here again. "

The big complaint is that, despite emails sent, the hotel never reported the stay to Hotels.com, and hence we have still not received our bonus stamps for the two nights. Since this was not reported even after a reminder email, I conclude that the behavior is intentional, so if you are collecting rewards you should AVOID THIS HOTEL!"
