Staff and attention to detail. Despite bbq night, chef made a fabulous Indonesian mushroom and rice dish for vegetarian. Lovely dinner views. Very convenient if flying out early near airport.

Outstanding value. Located on the ocean with good snorkeling and sunsets. Carlos, the manager is very attentive to making sure everything is going well. Great outdoor seating, including cabanas, small pool. Comfortable room. I couldn’t have hoped for more. Very close to the airport and the town (very few flights so very little noise.).

We were a group of four and booked two rooms. The manager/chef/hosts was so great to us. We all agreed this was the best hotel from our ABC Island trip. We we catered to the whole time. The gentleman from the bar was also delightful. We seemed to be the only ones staying for the first 2 days so it felt very intimate. We loved it!! Beautiful place and views for days. Food was also amazing.

Carlos am Empfang war sehr nett und zuvorkommend, aber er tat uns ein wenig Leid, weil es schien als ob er der ganzen Laden alleine schmeißen musste (Koch, Empfang, Betreuung,…). Die Location lag schön am Meer an der einen Seite, aber auf der anderen war die laute Hauptstraße und der Flughafen. Die Straße ist auch nachts stark befahren. Das Hauptproblem war das die Unterkunft ihre besten Tage hinter sich hat und alles ein wenig heruntergekommen und dreckig war. Überall stand altes Geschirr, teilweise mehrere Stunden. Das Zimmer (Cabana) war feucht und schmuddelig. Cleaning schien überfordert zu sein. Für den Preis nicht akzeptabel. Aber dann ist eben doch auch die Aussicht wunderschön, toller Blick aufs Meer, direkt vom Zimmer ins Meer einsteigen.

Wonderful
Such a wonderful hotel on an amazing location. It really is right at the shore and the whole terrace, Cabana's, sea side beds and pool beds are all reserved for hotel guests only. Therefor it is super peacefull and you have a magnificent piece of reef to discover all for yourself. Your host Carlos is ready to wait on your every need and will happily make you breakfast, lunch or dinner. The rooms are very spacious and mostly clean (a few small stains were left on the pillow cases, probably make up which is hard to wash out) but since there were so many pillows, i could put them to the side. The one downside of my room was that I had 'garden view' but all my windows were completely darkened by a type of metal screen, therefor not letting in any daylight. Luckily, you have but to open the door to glimpse at a paradise view right on your porch so that wasn't a large issue. Warm water, nice towels, a safe, room for all your clothes and toiletries, you can definitely spend an extended time in a very comfortable manner at this hotel.

A true gem at Bonaire!
We had a wounderful stay at TheBonairian. The hotel has a terrific setting in a calm environment. The staff are very nice and attentive.We really appreciated the covered sunbeds and the small beach. The room was perfect , super beds, nice and clean. The hotel also have a very good restaurant. We will defenetly come back!

De accommodatie is uitstekend, mooi terras, strandje met een van de mooiste snorkelplekken voor het hotel. Nadeel is de afstand naar Kralendijk, je moet wel vervoer hebben. Minpuntje was dat er geen haardroger beschikbaar was, ook niet bij de receptie.

Huge potential. Very well located, beautiful design. But maintenance is insufficient. Rooms are very clean, but the rest of the property less so. Service lousy. A pity - with a competent staff this could be a first rate hotel.
