"We had a fantastic two-week stay at Mitsis Rinela in summer 2024! From the moment we arrived, the experience exceeded our expectations. We were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary upgrade to a room with access to a shared pool, which really elevated our holiday experience. The room was spotless and well-maintained throughout our stay. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, always ready to help with a smile. We especially enjoyed the evening entertainment—it added a lovely touch to our nights and created a great atmosphere around the resort. The dining options were another highlight. In addition to the main buffet, there were several à la carte restaurants offering a nice variety of cuisines. One thing to note is that these restaurants require advance booking. Unfortunately, we weren’t aware of this at first, so we missed the chance to use our full quota of reservations. It would have been helpful to get a heads-up about that upon arrival. Overall, though, Mitsis Rinela offered a beautiful and relaxing getaway with great amenities, top-notch service, and memorable moments. We would definitely love to return!"

"My daughter and I stayed for two nights here. The hotel was exceptionally clean which is always important to me. The room was spacious. We had a double and twin bed. The bathroom was also a good size. The maid service was outstanding. As far as amenities, we had a refrigerator with cold water replaced daily. We even got an extra on our second day. The television had all the major streaming channels so you can log in, not that we were in the room much for TV. The location is excellent, with a hop, skip and a jump to the charm of Old Town. There is a pharmacy right next door, parking is available and the porters were so great carrying our bags to our room for us. I hope to return to Chania with my husband and I will definitely stay here again. Oh. Breakfast is buffet style with an assortment of protein choices. Fresh fruit, hot and cold cereal. And bakery items. Highly recommend this his hotel. "

"A luxurious hotel right at the port. Heraklion itself is not that great as a destination (though the museum is good), but the Megaron is the best place to stay if you come into the port. "

"Fantastic location close to the old town Chania. Everything you would want. Friendly staff. The breakfast is lovely. The 1866 Bistro Bar has good food and Excellent Cocktails"

"We stayed in this hotel for 7 nights , it is very beautiful hotel away from the old town but equally not too far with 10 minutes drive from the old town which cost €12 by taxi. The hotel has got two heated swimming pool, right in the front of the beach , breakfast was excellent with wide variety of options, we did half board with dinner which I preferred open buffet as I am fussy eater , and there wasn’t alot of vegetarian options on the ordered menu, the staff everyone were very pleasant and helpful, the suit been serviced twice daily , I was very happy of my choice of the location of the hotel not in the heart of the old town as was my original plan.but slightly away from it ."

"Had an amazing weekend at Palmera! Check in staff was kind and efficient. The bar staff was not attentive, I was often ignored but it didn’t bother me too much as I wasn’t in a hurry. Unfortunately, there were many extra charges and add ons that I was not made aware of. Many guests and I complained about the fact that we paid for all inclusive, yet most things were not included. A bit disappointed about that, a simple note on the property details would have sufficed. Regardless, the food was delicious and the vibes were great! The kitties were my favorite part! I would come back, but only after April 1st, when everything opens for the season. "
