"An exceptional stay from start to finish. Gracious hospitality, a true time capsule with updates in all the right places. "The hotel was great. Very easy to get to from the train station; there were buses that stopped almost directly across the street. The bus is your lifeline in Kyoto so being so close to a stop was a big plus. The staff was very nice and helped us make dinner reservations during our stay.
