"This property has many Canadian repeat customers, lots of whom have been coming for decades. The property is in a good location with a lot of restaurant choices as well as smaller stores with grocery items. It is a block or two to the beach. The property has 3 inviting pools with shaded areas and enough chairs and loungers for everyone. Our room had a king bed with a fairly firm mattress, as well as gas stovetop and fridge, as well as dishes and pots and frypans and blender. Excellent local Coffee was provided mornings from 5:30 am to 10:30 am in the lobby daily for everyone to enjoy, which was a big bonus. Staff provided daily housekeeping, but some people found this too much and so would request every 2 or 3 days or weekly. Friendly, happy staff, with Claudia at the front desk always helpful. I would highly recommend As D’Oro. We hope to be back!, "

"This inew hotel, with about 15 rooms, is situated two blocks from the beach and a 10-15 minute walk to the center of town. The hotel is well furnished and decorated is an elegant but simple and natural way. The pool area is in a garden and there are trees adjacent to the property. The staff are friendly, engaging, helpful and knowledgeable. The attached restaurant makes delicious food. As the hotel is away from the central part of the city it is quiet, however you have to walk into town if you want something or want to visit any of the other 40 restaurants in town. All told, I would recommend this hotel."

"Hotel qas very nice. Pool was nice but a bit smaller than photos implied. Good temperature. Bed was large and comfortable. Room was cleaned daily and sheets and linen changed. Staff were helpful. Only complaint was construction noise behind our room."

"Quiet little hotel a ten minute walk to the town square and a short walk to the beach. I went to enjoy the beach and it was very convenient. The room was very basic, but everything you needed. Beautiful courtyard with a coffee area and a pool. I would gladly spend more time there. Very clean and well kept."
