"Lovely stay. No tv or a/c but didn’t miss it. Stayed in the house on second floor. It’s like stepping back in time. Lots of antiques and so much charm. On the lake with plenty of things to do or just sit on the porch rocking enjoying good conversation with family. Very clean room and bathrooms;staff was helpful and kind."

"We enjoyed the balcony for relaxing, reading, and eating. We appreciated the host allowing use of the garage under the quarters for parking. Big plus for those who are particular about their vehicle. Also enjoyed the quiet setting and the location to the small towns, lakes, and state parks. Would not hesitate to stay again to do more exploring of the area. The owner was friendly and inquired if all was ok when our paths crossed, but otherwise respected our time and privacy."

"My wife and I stayed here M-F the second week in October. We came for the fall foliage, scenic drives, wineries, cideries and relaxation in a cozy house on a lake. All boxes checked…we had a perfect week! This house had plenty of room, was well equipped and the entire rental process was flawless! "

"The house was better than the pictures. It had everything we needed! We were a group of 5 girls on a wine tour aged 22-62. We would definitely stay here again! The only thing I would change is not leaving my white Stanley cup on the counter at checkout. There are lots of games and books for someone hanging around the house. "

"We had a wonderful time staying at this home. It was spacious, relaxing and nicely located between Glen Arbor and Leland. The accomodations down by the water were lovely.. kayaks, adirondack chairs, lounge chairs and a fire pit. The negatives in my opinion were lack of walkability or bikeability anywhere from the house. One could venture out on m22 but certainly not for children. and, perhaps this was my mistake, but I assumed a home that was renting for as much as this home was would have AC....

"Leelanau Blue is charming as described, the view of the lake and sunsets were beautiful. My husband and I enjoyed a relaxing week.The only complaint we had was the dog and cat hair that was on the pillows and floors."
