"Second stay here and again,a perfect choice for our Xmas shopping trip. Staff were excellent,friendly and helpful,food was lovely,room cozy and clean. Walkable to town with great mix of shops,beautiful cathedral with Xmas market. Happy to recommend."

"The hotels best features are the view of the sea and also the original Victorian decor. Parking is easy and the dining room is spacious and comfortable, again with a super view. Rooms are clean though All would benefit from upgrades and renewals to, for example, furniture. Dining is good and Breakfast is very nice. Stuff are helpful and sometimes very helpful and the location is quiet. "

"Beautiful hotel with very helpful staff. Ample parking. Would stay again. The only minor issue was that being located off a one way road meant having to detour a bit to make a u-turn depending on the route used. However, this isn't a deal breaker. Overall, great!"

"We had a lovely stay in a comfortable and spacious room overlooking the estuary. Our room had a small table and two chairs as well as a side table for hot water kettle and tea and coffee fixings. There was plenty of room for two of us with a gorgeous view. "
