"This is right in the middle of Lapa party district and for $30 for a Friday night during Carnival, I appreciate that it is cheap, however, some things are just completely unacceptable. When I checked into my room which the cleaners were just leaving I found a good sized room with fridge, twin beds, a wardrobe and TV and a good sized bathroom. However, the sink and co. had not be cleaned and contained male fluid stains en-masse. Both looked like they hadn't been cleaned in months and the floor...

"Hostel is amazing - provided you are pretty chilled and roll with whatever is happening. Had a brilliant stay, it was the perfect location to explore the city and surrounds; but also for Carnival events. Rooms were comfortable (had air con @ night, but fans through the day) and were fairly quiet. Unfortunately I don't think the room is swept often and the bathrooms got dirty very quickly; likely from a couple of plumbing issues which meant the floor in bathroom usually wet. Wi-Fi was very hit...
