"Grand Hotel Saint Michel is a wonderful small hotel in the Latin Quarter. I stayed there during a cold spell in January, and the hotel provided a warm and comfortable respite. My room was large, clean, and spacious. The morning breakfast was very good, comprised of a wide choice of hot and cold items. The hotel has an excellent location, within walking distance of Notre Dame, Pantheon, and Luxembourg Gardens. After a long day of walking around Paris, I slept very well at night, however, if you are a light sleeper I would encourage you to avoid the first floor near the elevator and lobby where there is some evening conversation."

"We really enjoyed this hotel. Close by many of the sites we wanted to visit. Very close to Latin district which has many, many dining options. The only thing we did not enjoy is that the hotel is currently renovating (putting in a new elevator). The existing elevator is extremely tiny, very slow, and doesn't always work. We were on the 8th floor, and the elevator only goes to the 7th. We had to climb a very tiny spiral staircase which was difficult with our large luggage. But the room was adorable. Despite the elevator challenge, we would absolutely stay at this property again."

"The hotel was in an ideal location. Around the corner from Notre Dame and walkable to Louvre and Pantheon. Easy acess to metro or taxis Lost of restaurants and stores nearby. The staff was also incredible. Clould not more highly recommend. ."
