"We spent 10 days at la Résidence Les embruns in September, and we loved it. It's an older property that would benefit from some renovations and updates (like a fresh coat of paint all over). That said, it's very close to the wonderful beach, and also services like a grocery store (Carrefour Market). Carole at the reception desk is a pleasure to deal with. Downtown is about one kilometre away, an easy and pleasant walk. Very recommended."

"Beautiful surroundings, lovely location to Holgate and Carbourg. Excellent heated pool (kids loved it) and really friendly staff. The accommodation was slightly tired but would definitely stay again."

We called the concierge contact he said sorry and he could not make it that evening so no sheets or towels, but next morning he will come early. So after a long day we had no linen. He did not make it next morning either, we sat all morning waiting, so I bought towels and we went about our day. That evening there where towels and sheets available at the door. So...

"We very much enjoyed our stay at the Norman house. Communication with Patrice was easy and the check-in process smooth. The house was clean and neat. Linen’s were fresh. The backyard was beautiful. The neighborhood is quiet, and the neighbors friendly. The area is awash in history. About an hour from Normandy, this locale enable us to see everything we wanted and more. We had a change of plans and had to check out early, but we enjoyed our stay very much."

The Bad: Unfortunately , we had to flee the apartment early the next morning because of significant breathing issues that affect both my husband and me. "What a delightful hotel. The rooms were modern, stylish, clean as a whistle and well equipped. The building is equally stylish and well maintained. We didn't eat in the dining room as it was very busy but crossed the road to a restaurant clearly popular with the locals where I enjoyed the best Cafe Gourmand of my life, for a very reasonable price. We could only stay for a single night but, if I'm in Normandy again, especially if I arrived off the evening boat into Le Havre, it would be my first choice. "
