"As many have commented, the facility is not brand new, but we can see that the bathrooms are renovated, and the linens are as clean as other Scandic hotels. Their Spa facilities are also excellent. Staff was also nice and helpful."

"All the staff was friendly and accommodating towards anything and everything needed to be answer, everything was walking distance, even the train station as well, the room did tend to get hot during the day but they provide a fan for that as well. All in all the experience was great and I will come back for sure"

"We hadden een fijne vakantie in deze goed uitgeruste nette en schone woning met snelle wifi en parkeerplek voor de deur, aan de rand van de rivier en naast het natuurgebied Aulanko. Een groter wandelgebied ligt op ca 45 min rijden. Hamenlina heeft alle voorzieningen, maar was voor onze volwassen zoons wat te rustig, maar Lahti (30 min) Tampere (1 uur) en Helsinki (1,5 uur) liggen dichtbij."

"Hotel Emelia was a one night stop on a 16 day tour of Finland. Although right in town it was easily accessible with overnight parking for our rental car. Staff were friendly and helpful. Enjoyed meal at hotel's affiliated restaurant across the road where waitress helped us practice our Finnish."
