"It was a lovely gated community , safe and serene surrounded by nature . A bit far from train station though if you don’t have a car . Harold wood station is 9 minutes drive where you can catch the Elizabeth Line . The only concern was that a fob should be given to long term guests to get in and out of the main gate , that was a hassle . Otherwise I would highly recommend this stay ."

"Amazing wonderful stay in Colchester once again. We’ve stayed at this hotel several times before. On the plus side we were given a free upgrade to a wonderful room with the balcony. Hotel is part of the George Hotel which I strongly recommend for a Sunday lunch. All staff at hotel were amazing "

"A very nice hotel with nice grounds, the staff were great and the food better still. The gym is a big plus and is well kept. The room was clean and tidy only let down by only having 2 pillows on a double bed I'd expect 4 but other than that a great stay and I'd stay again."
