The Shankly Hotel

4.0 star property
8.0 out of 10, Very good, (1002)
"The room was huge and
luxurious
and there were two enormous beds I loved it. The whirlpool bath was a fabulous bonus, Couldn't get the aircon to work but that might be our fault. A big window looking out onto the street with blackout curtains. An extra wipe of the whirlpool bath was needed, not 100 percent clean. Not really a problem. Breakfast was lovely. The staff were really helpful and friendly. A great hotel. I would stay here again."

30 James Street

4.0 star property
7.4 out of 10, Good, (1000)
"Overall, the stay here was okay, however there could be more amenities in the room and some changes would have made the room worth the money as it was a fairly expensive hotel room. A fridge would have been useful during the stay. The air conditioning in the room didn’t work so the room was very warm. The shower is very small and it had no shelf in it which meant that your toiletries were on the ground and because it is a small space, it was hard to pick them up."

. Ideal for attending any shows at the M&S bank area or auditorium theatre next door as its a very short step free walk. "

4.0 star property
9.0 out of 10, Wonderful, (1000)
"Stayed overnight at this beautiful
spa
hotel. When we arrived the staff were welcoming and we were delighted to hear that we’d been upgraded to a suite! The corner suite was fantastic, very modern with views of the cathedral and the Liver Building. Nice balcony, bed extremely comfortable and massive bath (fits two in nicely) and wet room waterfall shower. The hotel is in a beautiful part of Liverpool very near the Liverpool Philharmonic and cathedrals, lots of good bars, restaurants nearby too....

Hard Days Night Hotel

4.0 star property
8.6 out of 10, Excellent, (1397)
"Staff were very friendly & attentive. Room was ready early so we given keys earlier than planned which was brilliant. Room was modern & clean, Beatles themed of course. Bed was very comfortable. Hotel is very central which is great for shopping, food etc but was a bit noisy on a night (we stayed Sat night). My only criticism is that the bathroom was very small (shower screen would not open as right next to the sink) and some of the general fixtures needed attention but other than that an...

"For the price point it's a great hotel. We had a bit trouble with our door but it might have been just due to heat. Everything was clean enough, and the room was pretty comfy. Would probably come back because it's so central."
