"It’s not worth the price we paid, we booked for 11 person but the bed can only accommodate 10 person that my son end up sleeping on the floor , upstrair toilet floor is leaking down to the kitchen, we emailed the host on the first day but no reply til we check out, So we have to share the the down floor toilet, the hot tub is dirty that we end up cleaning for us to be able to use, dusty and loads of cubweds in one of the bedroom downstairs."

"The property was a great base for a short stay in Chester for a family of 5. We were no more than 15 minutes from some of the notable local attractions and amenities. The house itself suited our needs and was in a quiet neighbourhood. The house and rooms were of ample size to accommodate 2 adults and 3 children (all under 13)."

"This suite was cozy and quiet, with a great little kitchen, nice bed and pillows, and a hot tub! We had a car which is essential for touring in Wales and this was a great location to base our travels from. Smart TV and great Wi-Fi was also a much appreciated bonus. Although we never met our hosts, they were responded quickly to any questions. "

"The accommodation was very poor standard. The small bedroom had no electricity except for overhead light. Situation of bed meant no access to bedside table in that room. Really unfit for purpose The place felt grubby. Not enough crockery. No basics left eg milk bread washing up liquid. "A wonderful and spacious stone house with exceptional facilities especially in the kitchen. All the bedrooms has comfortable beddings and with enough room for 8 adults and 4 children. The cottage is well situated within the village and there are lovely walks nearby. Although the weather was brilliant, the nights were getting chilly so we welcomed the log burner which kept us nice and cosy. "We loved the Palm Court and our Superior room. The pool and changing rooms need updating and making more space to put more loungers as there is nowhere to go after you have used the pool and sauna. The jacuzzi is too small for the size of the hotel and its clientele. "

"We had an unusually large room and our dogs were allowed to stay with us, which was great, as other hotels in the area couldn't accommodate them. The breakfast was generous with lots of options. The swimming pool area is perfect. What made our stay particularly enjoyable, though, were the helpful and friendly employees. They were all fantastic!"

Clean and comfortable

"The room was amazing had everything we needed, it was very spacious clean comfortable. We booked for evening dining it was very busy so make sure you do that in an evening just incase. check in ran smoothly we had early check in and late check out which we paid extra for we also paid for breakfast at the time of check in and was told our 7 year old was free we settled the whole bill at the time. Then on check out we were then told there was an outstanding amount for breakfast which caused some confusion and embarrassment to us infront of other guests as they had over charged with no apology by which time they had already charged my card but all got resolved. That said this is a lovely hotel to stay in."
