Booked an overnight here whilst in London for a Christmas party. Staff were friendly and welcoming on arrival. Whilst the hotel isn’t the most up-to-date and a little tired, it’s totally acceptable, especially for the price. The room was best described as a little tired- things had obviously been repaired several times and sometimes the old broken thing left on the wall. However, the best was comfy and everything was clean. The hotel is right next door to the DLR so you can easily do 1 stop to Bank station to get you where you need. Breakfast was an actually unexpected extra for the price I paid, so I was pleasantly surprised. Decent eggs, sausage and pastries. For the price I paid, I would definitely come back for this kind of event!

Musty, dirty, in disrepair.. I got fooled by a good rating on hotels.com. I spent an extra night in London because my plans changed slightly. I didn’t want to go all the way to the airport as I wanted to explore London some more. I regretted my choice from the moment I saw the hotel. Not nice

I like the location - it has close proximity to the public transport system, and the breakfast is okay. However, I got bitten by bugs on my 2 nights - so please watch out.

I’ve stayed at this hotel once before. So it’s not a bad hotel just could do with a little more updating. My room before was a single and believe it or not it was bigger then then double room I had this time. The curtains don’t cover the window so would be better to remove as there are blinds up. And the only sockets are is the only place you walk to the bathroom so this was an issue for me as I needed to charge my phone and watch. The breakfast was a little disappointing think I was the last to go down so maybe my fault. Still the lady made me more scrambled egg and that tasted good. Could not find the tv remote so didn’t watch tv. Has coffee and tea in the room with soap and body wash nice touch. I would definitely stay again as the price is good for staying in London

Ok stay just few things staff needs to rectifie
Was ok stay apart from few issues with room and facilities kettle was left in state had to be descaled which they was happy to sort out for us. One of light bulb was not working but didnt effect us to much. Toliet button was broken still worked but not ideal. Fire alarm cover was off so wires was exposed and same on the landing (not sure if these actually worked) so very concerning specially if sleeping if was a fire. Fan in room was not level on floor fan seemed to heavy on stand so fan was leaning over so didnt really do much in room gor us as was blowing upwards mainly. Lights seemed not been cleaned very well was able visable see dirt on them on shades Breakfast was not as was advertised very little breakfast available. Food was open on trays not covered we witnessed flys going on food. Cheese block was available only problem with this you had to slice it yourself so many hands was holding this cheese do not very hygienic at all. The staff in kitchen seemed to be very slow topping up food and witness them laughing joking in back amd sitting down on there phones which didnt look very professional. Thinks ive stated can be rectified easily and this place would be very nice place for people to stay.

It was a very simple hotel, so we didn’t have big expectations. Our hotel room was very hot due to the weather and only one window. But we had a fan, so the nights were okay. The breakfast was typical English breakfast, which we’re not used to, but we found something as well. All the staff members we talked to were very friendly. The public transport is only two minutes away which was great. And it’s only twenty minutes to walk to the Tower of London (7 min via public transport). So the location of the hotel was perfect for us.

Basic room, breakfast should have been included when purchased through Expedia but was told it wasn't and had to pay for that separately. Room very hot, breakfast room even hotter, underwhelming selection, fruit flies aplenty. You get what you pay for, I will know better next time

Upon arrival at the property as soon as I walked in there was a strong food odour, the receptionist said sorry he was eating his dinner. In my room the bathroom had an unpleasant smell, so I kept the door closed. When it was time for bed I noticed a fly on the bed. At 6am I was woken with intense fly buzzing around me so this was a big fly. I couldnt go back to sleep so got up and went for breakfast at 7am. Breakfast was limited to cakes and only scrambled eggs I could eat. The price for this stay was 90 pounds which did not meet the standards of the property.
