"I was really impressed with my stay. My room was spacious, and spotlessly clean. The bathroom shower was excellent. If you are tempted to stay, ignore any negative reviews as it's really nice here. I didn't hear any other guests moving around. I used the spa facilities twice and found everything clean and tidy. The
pool is small but was adequate for a decent swim. I will definitely return."

"Have just enjoyed a 3 night stay with a friend. Beautiful hotel in unique location in quiet South Sands beachy cove. Lots of ways to get to Salcombe town centre either walking (a bit hilly), hotel shuttle car or water ferry. Rooms have stunning decor and bathrooms are very well appointed. Service throughout the hotel is excellent and very friendly. Enjoyed both breakfast and dinner in the hotel restaurant. Good value & again great service throughout but with particular mention of lovely service...

"Lovely hotel The Location was perfect! The room was very clean although very stuffy at night but there was a fan in the room and the window can be opened and was still very quiet.
Loved the
pool & spa facilities.
Breakfast there was plenty of choice.
Will definitely stay here again if we visit the area.
If I was being very picky the only complaint we had was the evening meal portions were very small for the price that we paid.
Would definitely recommend this hotel for staying."

"Absolutely superb ! Like stepping on board the titanic! Fantastic decor. Staff! efficient polite very clean and tidy. Beautiful building inside. Outside building needs some renovation but ok . Huge spacious rooms with everything you need maybe a fridge be useful particularly when hot weather. But all things considered very good. Price very good for July no issues with that . Staff friendly and helpful. Don’t believe all reviews! Some people are too quick to pull a business down. For this hotel comments were about thread bear and tiered! Maybe a bit , but I love that used patina and for a building of its age it’s just character and a fabulous example of a standard from a bygone age . Thank goodness some people keep these hotels alive and kicking. 🙏"
