The location is amazing in DTLA, there is no cooking facilities for people that stay in the hostel just a chill area with fridge, microwave and toaster, the bed was clean, but the room was hot and stuffy and I woke up sick from breathing in everyone's breath in the room, there was no air flow and the room was on 11 floor. The bathroom is also in the room and echod all the sounds of banging on tiles into the room so it was hard to sleep. There is a nice upstairs pool with amazing views and a cool reception area to chill and work that serves good coffee. Just the room was stufy and it's unhygienic breathing and sleeping in a room with 8 people (complete strangers) with no air flow. It took me 3 days to start feeling better after I checked out.

There is no air ventilation in the room so you sit and breath in peoples breath and when some ones sneazes or so. I got very sick and had to leave. They also don't give you blankets you just sleep on a sheet. The bath room is also in the room and the way it was designed pushes the sounds into the room and amplies the sound into the room. They lied about kitchen facilities as there is just a fridge and a microwave they don't even have plates. There is nice coffee and a work space down stairs and the pool is nice . But I got sick from sleeping in the room cus there is no ventilation which has messed up my next days of travel

This is the most quaint awesome hotel! The decor and lighting in the rooms is intimate & very appealing. Everything about our stay in this hotel was lovely! The rooftop bar and pool at night is not to miss. The rooms were so quiet (couldn’t hear guests above, beside, or below us. The bed was super comfortable, shower had lots of pressure, the room was very clean, and the staff were attentive and friendly. The area has a few homeless people milling around, and the street noise was audible, but if you’re a light sleeper bring earplugs and you’ll have a wonderful stay!
