"Absolutely beautiful property with tons to do within the property. Well maintained trails perfect for beginners. The staff was very professional and pleasant. Free activities in the lodge were great, especially the guided hike with their very knowledgeable guide. Beautiful surrounding towns. The free breakfast at the restaurant on site was very good. Lunch and dinner on site were expensive so we drove about 10-15 minutes off property and there were tons of options. We booked an economy room in the casona with a shared restroom and it was lovely. Will definitely return."

"Our family loved our stay at the Volcano Lodge. It was close to Fortuna and had an incredible view of the volcano. The pool and the 3 thermal hot springs areas were magical. The swim up bar in the hot spring pool was very unique. Breakfast was very tasty each morning and the staff was super friendly. Our bungalow room opened up on a patch of forest where we’d sit on chairs and watch a parade of exotic birds and butterflies fly by. We would highly recommended it!"

"This was the 2nd time we have stayed there. We returned because of the amazing experience the 1st time last year and we got the same amazing stay this year. I think they are always cleaning and taking care of the property, so rooms and hotel look amazing. The entire staff are friendly, welcoming, talkative and go out of their way to to ensure a good trip. They learn your name, even when only staying a few days. I would definitely recommend staying there. "
