The room was on the smaller side but had every amenity needed. Loved the nespresso machine and the view was fantastic. "The boutique hotel stood true to it's name; small, intimate and quaint. It always smelt good, giving a "clean feeling" as you walk passed the lobby. The waiting area behind the check-in counter, just by the coffee shop, was big enough to accommodate a few, and small enough to keep a good conversation going. Would suggest adding bedroom slippers to the rooms as the floor gets cold -we checked-in on winter time. Overall, would highly recommend to anyone wanting a posh, stylish, boutique hotel,...

"Staying at Public was a strange experience! The room was comfortable and even though very small (as is the norm in NYC), you could tell a lot of thought had gone into the design and maximising storage and hanging space. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was great. It’s the ‘open plan’ type of bathroom so I wouldn’t be comfortable sharing with someone I’m not in a relationship with! Very little privacy.
