"In our 2-night stay we had no contact with anyone else at the hotel, but could hear othwr guests a little from our room. Check-in was easy with guidance sent in advance, and the room was cleaned well during the day. The accomodation was clean and comfortable, although the common areas were unlit during the day so quite dark. A small amount of shampoo and shower gel was provided, and the room had a kettle. "Had a lovely stay in a superior room. Every thing was very clean, in the room and the hotel bar/lounge. The room it's self was huge, we had a jacuzzi bath and a four poster bed. The bed was lovely and comfortable. All the staff were very attentive and chatty. I would highly recommend anyone in the area to give this hotel a go. The rooms are exceptional value compared to others in the area of the same price."

"This hotel is unique in that, apart from the excellent rooms and service, I think it would be difficult to find a place anywhere with such lovely views of a river, a harbour and scenery that is picture postcard beautiful."

"My bedroom 109 was I think above the kitchen so heard noises from the kitchen activities. The shower bifold door hinge was broken so the magnetic strips never worked in properly closing the shower doors. The room was comfortable with a single bed and we'll heated. The food was excellent, including the main meals and my 2 breakfasts. The kippers were to die for!...beautiful oily fish... wonderful way to start the day!! I would recommend the hotel and I would come again."
