Seashell Cottage is a modern, cosy two bedroom holiday cottage, situated in a Small Mews development; one of six in the heart of Milford on Sea. (07840 487998) Originally Milford on Seas Cottage hospital and subsequent to that the village telephone exchange. This delightful holiday home has been refurbished to a high standard and ideal for couples or families .( we only accept children over 2 yrs out of a cot )
There is entrance to drive off the high street leading to a private entrance. Directly off hallway is the lounge; a feature fireplace, oak mantel and scaffold board detailing combined with large widescreen TV inclusive with DVD player amazon fire stick access to Netflix , fibre broadband WiFi , as well as comfortable and homely seating two double sofas . Sliding patio doors lead to the self contained pretty courtyard garden with picnic table for Al Fresco Dining and new for 2024 rattan lounge set. The hallway leads to a fully equipped kitchen / diner. Stairs lead to a first floor landing, off which includes a tastefully refurbished bathroom and two bedrooms 1 x king and 1 x superking bed ; comfortably sleeping 4 people

Milford on Sea is a popular and quaint seaside village with a superb range of independent shops, and pubs which are open all year round. There are several restaurants catering for all culinary tastes, including Italian,Indian, Thai and traditional food. Award winning Verviene fish market restaurant offers fine dining and we would recommend booking in advance. Walking out of the cottage and round to the High street is the newly refurbished Saltwater Cafe .Additionally a few paces further into the village, there is the award winning Smugglers Inn, The Cave ,Hurst on the Hill and Rays Italian to mention just a few. There are various events held on the village green and these prove extremely popular.
Milford on Sea boasts a fabulous stone and sand beach just a 5 minutes walk from the property, with spectacular views across the Solent including panoramic views of The Needles, Isle of Wight and Christchurch Bay. Take picturesque walks towards Hordle Cliff, Keyhaven and Hurst Castle or just relax and enjoy the beach and a summer swim. A further 10 minutes walk leads to the stunning Keyhaven and nature reserve, including a idyllic bridge for children to go crabbing and fishing.
Further take a 10 minute drive into the New Forest National Park and enjoy a range of stunning walks, cycle rides or horse riding whilst exploring the pretty villages of Brockenhurst, Burley, Beaulieu, Sway and Lyndhurst. Lymington; the main town including high street shops and our beautiful Quay and marina is well worth a visit .
