Madame Tussauds Orlando transports you into a world of glitz, glamour and fame. Get close to incredibly lifelike wax figures of world leaders, movie legends and pop stars. The Orlando location of the wax museum brand also features a replica of Florida’s own rap sensation, Pitbull.
The first Madame Tussauds opened nearly 200 years ago in London. Madame Tussaud herself was born in 1761 and learned how to make wax models from anatomist and wax modeler, Dr. Philippe Curtius. These days, a typical wax figure takes a team of about 20 artists approximately four months to make. Note that real human hair is added for a realistic look.
Inside the museum, different locations highlight various genres. Wander through the History & Leaders section to see Albert Einstein, Neil Armstrong, Walt Disney and Martin Luther King Jr., among others.
