"Fantastic overnight stay in the Bollinger room - with the most comfortable bed imaginable. We ate in the pub in the evening and got talking to the owner about Huddersfield pigeons and their (lack of) merits. Food brilliant - we chose a chicken and a lamb dish. Beautiful. Mediterranean cheesecake - pesto jus with olives and roasted tomatoesit it was not. Turns out it was Dark Fruit Berries !!! Super flavour. And sticky toffee pudding to die for ! Lovely breakfast in the morning. Plenty...

"I have tried to contact you several times...the host informed me that they asked you to remove their property from your site several times...this was after i booked it...i then had to book thru a different site,so basically paid twice...i would like a full refund from yourselves...its completely unacceptable that you cant be contacted about this... absolutely disgusted with your site and service and i would recommend that nobody uses your site for any trips!!!"

"We stayed here for 2 nights over the bank holiday for my partners birthday and last little break away before our little boy is due! The most peaceful and relaxing place I’ve ever been too, very much needed. The owners & staff couldn’t of be nicer, so welcoming and friendly. The dome was unreal and the bed was unbelievably comfy, best nights sleep I’ve had in a while! The weather was cloudy for most of our stay but it didn’t matter, we still managed to have a BBQ which was great! Amazing views...

"Don’t get me wrong, Dewars is a lovely property and certainly stands out from the crowd, however, it’s let down by the lack of customer service professionalism. We checked in, nobody behind the reception, when somebody did check us in they didn’t tell us anything (literally anything such as what time breakfast was served, where to go for breakfast, wi-fi, checkout times - basic stuff). The staff member walked us to our room but got lost (this place is not that big) and the room we stayed in was...

"Booked a week in December and our adult daughter joined us. The cottage was well equiped for us, very cosy & warm, comfortable beds, curtains & blinds at the bedroom windows. Large TV & DVD player. Powerful shower over the bath. There is a patio with furniture, if the weather is kind. A long drive leads to private parking. It is quite isolated, but peaceful and tranquil with lovely views. In the lounge are 2 x 2 seater settees, which would be quite 'snug' if there were 4 adults."

"Pinecone lodge is furnished/decorated to a very high standard. Everything you could possibly need for a self catering holiday - plus so much more. So much thought and attention to detail makes your stay so relaxing and peaceful. Cannot fault the host or the accommodation at all."
