"Perfect location for train travel pre or post stay, right next to Piccadilly station or the tram/free bus stop to Victoria station. Lovely lobby area, and staff were all very friendly! There was a cigarette butt in the room I had at the the corner, but easily missed as hidden under the thick curtains. Didn't impact it my stay, and staff did offer to move me if I wanted when I reported to them without hesitation. Great service!"

From the lovely smell that wafts to greets you as you walk through the doors into the opulent reception, you know you are in for an indulgent treat when you stay here! Staff are always friendly & helpful, the free room upgrade was very welcome - as were the complimentary drinks. Had a wonderful stay & will continue coming back to the Kimpton (and Refuge Bar) whenever we visit Manchester"

"Enjoyed my two-night stay at The Alan. The room was spacious and beautifully designed. Bed and sofa both really comfortable. There were some ups and downs with the service - breakfast on our first day was borderline shambolic, though on day two it was great. Our room was not properly cleaned (bed was made but tea/coffee not replenished and bins not emptied). This was made worse by their ‘WhatsApp the reception desk’ concept where we then asked for the tea/coffee to be replenished, were told...
