"Grounds were beautiful & lush, filled with tropical birds & iguanas. Meticulously maintained with grounds keepers & pool boys on site every day. Resort is located within a secure country club golf course & right next door to a walkable malecon with scenic views & photo-ops. Located close to bus stops to take you downtown, wallmart, home depot, Sam's, restaurants, etc. We stayed on the property except 1 trip downtown. Room was newly furnished and clean. Tables by the pool to sit and enjoy sunsets and the freighters. This is where we will return when visiting...

"The hotel is falling apart. One of our rooms had a broken window and flooded during the night due to rain. We had no hot water, no room service, no wifi, no tv in the room, and these are all things it was auppised to have. The upkeep of the hotel was shockingly bad. Its literaly falling apart. The staff was good, the beach access was good. The restaurant was closed. Wont let me upload photos herw but ill post the same review on google with photos if i can."
