"We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Monterey Le Frere Osaka! The hotel was really nice and after getting used to the traditions, we loved going to the sento/Trinite baths every day. It's a bit of a walk from the Osaka train stations, but in January we were still able to stay underground for almost all of the eay there. Fair warning - when visiting the Umeda underground routes be ready to be lost as it's very convoluted and busy, so it's easy to get confused. The hotel and staff on the other hand made the stay fantastic."

"This is an excellent location to access USJ. We could see the gate from our room and knew when people were starting to line up in the morning. The breakfast buffet was also excellent! A great way to fuel up for the day. Heaps of food options at the hotel doorstep. Super easy access by train too!"

"It was so convenient to use the subway and train station to get around, being that the hotel is located right next to OCAT and many of the Namba stations. Walking distance to Dotonbori and Shinsaibashisuji. Lots of shopping and dining nearby. The buffet breakfast was also amazing. "
