"The location is excellence if you want to walk to restaurants and entertainment. The Hotel staff was very responsive and polite. The restaurant on site was delicious with great service. Shrimp appetizers and oysters are solid. 200 years and still a going. This hotel is a gem. "

"The Monterey Bay Inn is a unique property. It sits right on the Bay on Cannery Row. It does not have a restaurant or bar, but the location is close to many fine dining options. The room includes a wonderful continental breakfast that has warm muffins, fruit, yogurt, hard boiled egg and coffee that is brought to your room. The service us friendly and professional. I upgraded my room to the ocean view balcony. Wow! Was that a great idea. The views were stunning. The room is very large and comfortable. The bathrooms were also large. There are rwo hit tubs on the property but i did not bring my bathing suit so was sad to have not tried it. I would definitely recommend this hotel."
