"The Monterey Bay Inn is a unique property. It sits right on the Bay on Cannery Row. It does not have a restaurant or bar, but the location is close to many fine dining options. "We were visiting here for our 35th wedding anniversary. We have been coming up every year for our anniversary and at least one other time a year for the past decade. This time was a little different as we didn’t receive our bottle of wine which was a little disappointing (I guess I’m spoiled because we have received one each anniversary), but the facilities and spa were amazing. The staff at the spa, restaurant and valet were beyond wonderful. Looking forward to our next visit already."

"A lovely stay. Bed was comfortable, WiFi solid if not speedy, fireplace was great. Everything was clean as could be. My room was right across from the public outdoor gathering area, so there was a little noise, but everything quieted down nicely after 10 and I got an excellent nights sleep. Very close to Whole Foods and Trader Joe’s and convenient to the municipal beach and Old Monterey. Would definitely stay again. "
