"This property had no working heat we were huddled sleeping 3 across a queen bed for 2 nights because of only being given 2 blankets. The host didn’t respond until the next day and when they did it was a long list of items to complete in order to get the heat working which didn’t end up working. Also no hot water. Probably one of the worst places I’ve ever stayed."

"I almost cancelled this hotel booking based on the picture of the front showing what appears to be a rough area with graffiti covered walls, but don't be put off by that. Graffiti along railway lines seems to be regarded as art in vienna, and is no indication of it being a rough area. The hotel is spotlessly clean and modern. Good facilities in the rooms. "Staff were exceptionally helpful and professional. Nothing was too much trouble. Hotel was located for everything we needed in the city center. Hotel entrance has steps to the elevator. This was unusual but the hotel had a porter on hand to take our cases to our room when we checked in and out of the hotel. Other than this slight inconvenience, our stay was just excellent. We will definitely stay at this hotel again the next time we visit Vienna. "

Another great stay at the Meridien in Vienna

"Great hotel in the centre of Vienna just a couple of minutes walking distance away from the Opera, main shopping area and other atractions like the Hofburg. Very nice restaurant and bar with a lot of food and drink options. The spa is ok including an indoor pool and jackuzzy but the water temperature of the pool was to cold."

"I had an amazing stay at this hotel and can’t recommend it enough! The location is incredibly convenient—just a few minutes’ walk from the main station (though I initially took a cab, not realizing there was a direct path!). From the moment I checked in, the experience was top-notch. I was upgraded to an executive suite, and it was absolutely fantastic! The bed and pillows were so incredibly comfortable that I slept like a baby—truly one of the best nights of sleep I’ve had in a long time. The next morning, I was on the hunt for a great cappuccino after experiencing mediocre coffee at my previous location. The gentleman at the front desk recommended a nearby restaurant, and wow, the cappuccino was so good I ended up having two cups! Everything about my stay exceeded expectations, and I will actually be returning again in a few days. Highly recommended!"

"Brought mum for a long weekend. Mooons is conveniently located with lots of travel links and options. Staff were so friendly and helpful, and the whole feel of the hotel was relaxed and welcoming. Some building/renovation works taking place, so the decor was unfinished in reception/bar HOWEVER no works being undertaken during our stay so not disruptive at all. The breakfast is AMAZING, and we loved every second of our stay. "

"Great hotel! Amazing location. Walkable to all major attractions. Excellent restaurants. Tram in front of hotel. Beds a great. Could use more storage in rooms. Friendly staff. Perfect 2 week stay in Vienna thanks to the Grand Ferdinand hotel. We will be back."
