"Clean, modern hotel. Not too far from tram or bus stop. Metro is a 12 min walk though. Google maps from the city to hotel shows St Marx on 71 tram as the stop. But if you go to next stop (Litfasstrasse) your walk time to hotel is cut to half. Now the glitch part. Hotel staff was nice and accommodating. Except once when my kid asked for a tea bag to replenish the coffee/tea in the room, she was told by the front desk lady no tea bags to replenish. Even though we stayed for 7 days. 1 extra tea...

"This hotel is very good value. Although it's not bang in the centre of Vienna it has excellent public transport links to the centre with the journey taking about 7 minutes on the train and less than 15 on the tram. The room is a good size with a powerful shower. Only grumbles were a lack of efficient room temperature regulation which would definitely be a problem in Summer and no closet space. Apart from these niggles I would definitely recommend the Daniel as an excellent choice. "
