"Our stay at Mooons was lovely. The proximity to the train station was key between getting the public transportation downtown or the early morning train to our next stop. Additionally, the staff was wonderful answering all of our questions and was so thoughtful with their extra personal touches. The view from the window in the room was simply spectacular. Just staring out the window when we were back at the hotel was wonderful. We would definitely return again!!"

"The hotel is a historic property located close to the famous Schönbrunn palace a little out of the centre of Vienna. It’s clean, quiet and well run, with convenient transport to the centre nearby. Also quite good value, although breakfast was VERY expensive. It advertises itself as an eco hotel, which is great, but there is not much in the way of toiletries etc. We also found the lighting a bit strange. You had to turn all lighting in the room off, so one person couldn’t read while another...

"The location is outstanding. The rooms are a good size and the bed is very comfortable. Our room had a tiny balcony facing the opera house. The staff is amazing. The breakfast is fine, if you know you can order an omelet or eggs. The food selections are a bit unusual for breakfast. They need self service coffee as it takes a long tine to order coffee and tea. They have a nespresso machibe in the rooms so it could be an easy fix. A very good boutique hotel."

"Parking was easy, just beneath the hotel. The hotel is above a very specific section of the underground parking structure - there are at least 3 ways up, and only the middle way leads to the hotel. Going up a different staircase can make one easily lost. Parking is a bit pricey at $39 euro per day, so plan for that. You can park offsite but that would be very inconvenient. As far as the hotel goes- the room was amazing and clean. Highly recommend!!! "
