La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Slidell - North Shore Area

2.5 star property
8.0 out of 10, Very good, (1000)
"This place is great- very safe for women, very safe for families. It's about a 35 minute drive to the French quarter, so beware of that, but honestly the safety of the area alone makes it worth it. The room was spacious and clean, and the property was quiet. Pets are allowed, for a fee. That's not mentioned on this site- so be aware it's $25 and non-refundable. The breakfast is wonderful, the property is safe, clean, and quiet, and I have no complaints. It's a great hotel, and we'll be back...

Sonesta ES Suites New Orleans Convention Center

3.5 star property
8.6 out of 10, Excellent, (2199)
"The smell from the room was like the carpets had not been cleaned with animal dander and the furnace system needs a new filter. Breakfast was from 6-9:30 and they had eggs, sausage patties and pancakes. Location was the best thing about this place as its walking distance to the convention center and the WWII museum. ...
