Way bigger than we needed.We weren't very lucky with the weather, but the house was a nice place to relax and just get a change of scene.There's not much in Cardross itself, so most activities need a car or train trip. Plenty to do within a reasonably short journey though."

"Glencairn is a home from home. It has everything you need. A very well equipped kitchen, spacious dining room and comfortable sitting room with fabulous views over the Clyde. The bungalow has an enclosed rear garden and a lovely large front garden with space to park your car. It is situated within a small quiet established estate where everyone still acknowledges you with a cheery smile. We arrived tired from a long journey so it was a welcome sight to see how spotless the bungalow was. Also it was warm and comfortable and the welcome hamper was so kind. Thank you."

"The host was attentive, but the place was under renovation, and he didn’t tell us ahead of time. There were holes in the walls, the shelves were dirty and the whole air was dingy. We had to ask for a kettle and pots and pans. There was no sponge or fairy liquid or sponge to clean the plates. The cooker didn’t work; we had to wait until the night (11 pm) for it to work. It was not as advertised."
