Only one thing the benches outside seems to have been moved to the outside of reception this is not a good look for the hotel and the noise from the people using these benches directly outside is not good,this to be honest only happens now and then but it would be a good idea to fix these benches to the side,where they would still benefit the people who like to smoke and have a drink outside and wouldn’t disturb the other guests."

"The hotel was modern, clean and comfortable. Ultimately like any hotel it’s just a building; however, what sets this building apart is the staff. We stayed two nights and from the outset we were made to feel like old returning friends. Special mention goes to restaurant staff Nathan, Bessy and Coulay (I guarantee that I’ve misspelt that), also to night desk staff member Andrew. If I have need of a hotel in Newport again I can’t imagine choosing anywhere else. Great service. "

The staff even charged my phone when I couldn't get my charger to work! Would definitely return or recommend to others."
