"What a great little hotel, conveniently and centrally located. The room was small but very clean, with excellent amenities such as fridge, desk, and Roku-equipped TV. The surrounding area is a little bit rough; at least once each evening, one would hear the automatic loudspeaker warning to somebody outside the premises, advising them to identify themselves. This was a bit startling the first time (only because I didn't expect it). But that's part and parcel of being a big city downtown...
