"Wonderful pub and accommodation. The people are very welcoming, friendly and helpful. This 16th century public house still supports many original features making its atmosphere charming. The room was fairly small, a double bed and the small wardrobe made it tight to get to the bathroom but it was very clean and comfortable. Street Parking is available in front of the pub for free but only from 6pm till 9am so you need to move the car at 9am. The food was good but pricier than either of the 2 public houses within staggering distance. Breakfast was well presented and good choices. The church across the road is beautiful inside, well worth a look. "

The classic room we stayed in was spacious, comfortable and very clean. Perfect for a relaxing break once you have negotiated the 1.5 mile single track road to the hotel!"
