"Very good stay in a comfortable hotel. Service was great. Couple of things - I felt the dinner menu could be a little more extensive, the check out time of 10 am is a little early. But generally a great stay. Ps I should have mentioned this at check out but the sink plug in room 102 sticks closed 😎"

"A beautiful hotel set in lovely gardens on the edge of Dartmoor National Park. Friendly, attentive and helpful staff. Very good standard of food. The classic room we stayed in was spacious, comfortable and very clean. Perfect for a relaxing break once you have negotiated the 1.5 mile single track road to the hotel!"

"I booked for two nights but left after one due to the poor hygiene. Apart from fresh bed linen everything else was dirty. There was even food left in the fridge from previous occupants. They advertise that breakfast is included, but they do not offer breakfast. Their advert is not a true reflection of what they are offerring."
