"This was our 5th stay at Kimi Ora and it never fails to disappoint.Staff are lovely and we had a beautifully refurbished room with a stunning view.We would really love to keep it to ourselves but it is too good not to share.Love the estuary walk down to the beach and enjoy the widlife along the way. "A rustic farm experience in a lovely cabin. Amazing sea and bush views and incredible star gazing. The farm is an animal sanctuary with horses, ducks, geese, chicken, sheep, cattle, pigs and peacocks which really added to the countryside experience. This is a rustic experience similar to glamping so if you're after the 5 star experience this is not for you. "The hosts and accommodations were lovely. We left early our first morning for a day trip to Abel Tasman and Sally packed us a to go breakfast including homegrown tomatoes from her garden. I think they ordered up sunlight to stream into the breakfast room the next morning so it would shine on the locally grown fresh fruits. Way exceeded expectations. "

One minor thing, which wasn’t an issue for us but could be perhaps if those staying aren’t as mobile, is that the back and rear bedrooms contain bunks - not sure if there’s a way to note this in the listing. We didn’t get our bottle of wine as per the listed spring special."
