"Nikko was a great respite from the big cities, and Senhime was the perfect spot to refresh -- a beautiful and spacious room that faced the mountain and river, wonderful staff, excellent food, lovely indoor and outdoor bath. You come away feeling pampered. Its location is also excellent -- situated in a historic residential area that's an easy walk to the Nikko historic district, the imperial summer villa, the Kanmangafuchi Trail, and a botanic garden. "It is a very small hotel in a very quiet small town. We didn't feel very impressed when we first saw the hotel. After we checked in and went to our onsen, it was so amazing and then our fantastic dinner. It was Wows!!! Everything was so perfect, relaxing and so peaceful. We also felt in love with the town. It was so peaceful and didn't want to leave. It worth every afford to get there. Love love it so so much!!!"

The accommodation was great, we opted for a Japanese style room and it was wonderful. While we were enjoying the fantastic buffet our room was transformed with futons.
