"Overall we were pleased with our stay. However breakfast had a limited selection and not enough supplied for the amount of guests. Not enough staff to cope with the volume of guests. And one of our biggest gripes was the use of Single Use plastic cups and cutlery and paper bowls. "

"The art and vibe is cool, but the hotel is older so carpet and windows etc could use an upgrade. There was no AC so in August it was very hot in my 3rd floor room, and even though the outdoor temp cooled down, the outside air didn’t cool the room down to a temperature suitable for sleeping; even with a fan. There was also a lot of street noise outside my room since there’s a bar right across the street. It was fine for a short business trip to SF but probabaly wouldn’t stay there again. "

"We loved our stay at Stanford Court. The staff were fantastic, the rooms very clean and spacious. The bed was very comfortable ! The hotel bar was one of the best we’ve been to. The choices in drinks and food were vast and great quality. The area is also great, you are not in the busy noisy touristy area (Fishermans Wharf) but that’s still very much in walking distance. We had to visit the Tenderloin district which is roughly 3 blocks south of the hotel. I wouldn’t advise tourists visiting,...

"The location is excellent as it is within walking distance to Pier 39 and union square and also buses to the Golden Gate Bridge. We arrived early and our room was ready to check in. The front desk (Damien) went all the way to help us to solve the luggages issue that we face. He shared useful information. Very happy with the place, location and service provided."
