"Staff were extremely welcoming and helpful during our stay. Room felt a bit dated although we had a very big room with a comfortable bed. Bathroom could do with a curtain rather than a net curtain as when you have the light on at night you feel overlooked by neighbouring properties. Breakfast was delicious with a good choice and decent size. Parking was good and secure. Overall we had a great stay and would definitely return. "

"Looks really good from outside - beautifully maintained garden frontage leading down towards cliff top road. Inside: All recently renovated / redecorated, clean and smart. Some rooms are cheaply fitted out, but 'Premier' rooms much better. Customer service - variable: restaurant staff were defensive, bordering on being rude, when misinformation in the menu was brought to their attention. Late into our first night a very loud and over amplified musician was entertaining in one of the reception...

"Fantastic location right on the beach. Sea view room worth the extra. Staff were very attentive, wonderfully cheerful & nothing was too much trouble. The room was well equipped, almost too much furniture, & the only criticism was that the mattress needs replacing & was too soft & lumpy. The bathroom was large & well equipped, the small fridge was very useful. Ventana restaurant was superb, delicious food & very good value. "

"We had a lovely 3 night stay here. A warm and friendly welcome from the staff. The restaurant food was excellent and service good. Plenty of choice for breakfast although had to ask a couple of times for things to be replenished. Convenient for the train station and the seafront. The room was small but comfortable. Our only complaint was that our shower control was faulty and resulted in water far too hot, we did mention it but nothing was done whilst we were there. Would stay here again."
