The staff member and the room were good. The only issue I had there were no closet or hangers in my room were I could hang my clothes.

Like everyone else I read the reviews before booking if I had not gone to this property or to this motel and see it for myself I would actually believe all the reviews that I’ve seen and not go, hence, this was my experience and I was impressed at how fresh and clean the lobby was and the room l stayed in. Nevertheless, the only reason I would not give this property a full five star, you could hear everything that was happening in the room next-door, banging on the wall a couple times and the cable did not work on the TV. Its a decent motel to rest for work the next day and would stay again.

I would not recommend staying at this motel. You hear sounds from the room next door because there is no insulation inside the walls. The stairs to the second floor in the back building are very steep and unsafe. There is no elevator.

We found the room was full of cockroaches. The young man at the front desk said they were June bugs but they were roaches. I caught some to show them. He did give me my money back reluctantly and told me never to come back. I was accused of bring them in. Never again would I ever stay there.

The pictures posted online were different than the room we received. The room was clean and the staff were nice. The furniture and property seemed outdated but the rooms were clean. I felt safe and rested well.

Mainly service or the lack of. Very noisy people in the room over me. Lots of swearing, angry words threats knocking over stuff. Called the front desk he confirmed the noise the police came. They deemed them not fighting or disruptive. Police left about an hour later another outbreak woke me up called the front desk nothing he could do. No offer for another room. Facility had plenty of vacancies. Best option the very loud window fan unit effectively drowned out the yelling and screaming from upstairs.

What just happened
It's difficult to know what this motel is trying to be. Unkindly, it's Ralph and Alice Kramden's apartment with a modern refrigerator and new paint job. The room appeared to be recently refurbished--everything was new and in good condition--and it was very clean. Practically, there's a real kitchen, but supplied with only 4 plastic throwaway glasses. There's nowhere to hang clothes. Rather than drawers, there are 4 cubbies. In addition to the bedroom and kitchen, there's a large room with a very small table and 2 plastic chairs. There was not an iron and ironing board on the premises that one could borrow. So, is one supposed to stay for several days or camp out for just one night? The outside of the building we were in was a mess--rotting and missing wood, worn areas for walking and stairs, missing paint, and dirty areas for walking and stairs. There's evidence that the motel is undergoing renovation, but there's no information or signage on that. The parking lot badly needs repaving. The motel's website is under construction. We booked through hotels.com. The photos have little to do with the reality of our experience--no bedroom chair, no desk, no dresser, no homey-ness as shown in the photos.
