"My husband and I loved our stay at Maylands Lodge while we were in Tasmania for work. From the moment you enter the property you see the attention to detail .. the exquisite interior, the wonderful attentive staff, the comfy beds, the beautiful shower, the delicious breakfast and the view is amazing! "This motel is lovely. Although a little out of the way (we had a car so everything was easy) it’s a beautiful spot overlooking the water. The motel itself is refurbished with hints of retro (love the orange accents) Our room had everything we needed to self cater, and a short drive to some fantastic dining options! "

"As it is newish it is in good condition. We had a kitchenette with Microwave, Kettle, 2 cups 2 forks. Nothing else. Unable to wipe down sink, dry cups. No change of towels in 4 days. Bed was very comfortable. "

"There were a couple of maitenance issues which we had to work around. The kitchenette is quite basic for the cost of a stay. No stove or oven. Location is good, however you have to carry everything up quite a few steep stairs."

"Wonderful position with a view over the Derwent river. Squeezy parking and wouldnt cope with a large vehicle or a van. The road in would be difficult with a van and no area to turn around. No problems if youre just travelling in a car."

"I don't know if you could find a better location in Hobart than the Tasman. Very central, close to restaurants and right along the waterfront. And the room that we stayed in was absolutely top notch. Staff was very helpful and accommodating, housekeeping was excellent. Not much in the way of amenities and we chose to eat elsewhere most of the time, finding that the menus were a bit overpriced but we had great coffee from the restaurant every morning so we were happy campers! "

"Excellent stay for 10 nights in the one bedroom apartment spacious, comfortable clean bed with fluffy doona linen in bathroom thick and fluffy, reception staff friendly and helpful housekeeping do a fantastic job would recommend to family and friends to stay at The Old Woolstore apartments, skybus at the front entrance from airport if not having a car loved our time in Hobart "
