Room was freezing literally, had a funky smell and I was just surprised at the state of the hotel I genuinely thought it was getting a refurb the floor was horrible, it just wasn’t a warm cosy hotel which I’m use to, I’m sorry to leave the review and hope this is constructive and they take this on

We had lovely relaxing stay ,room was spotless no complaints ,staff very helpful ,nice surroundings . we had afternoon tea and also ate in the restaurant at night , Breakfast did not disappoint all lovely .

The hotel is in a beautiful location with well kept grounds. There is a great walk alongside the lake. The staff were friendly, attentive and polite Breakfast was great as was the food generally. Will stay again when visiting family in Chrshire
