"The hotel was like a hidden gem, the staff were really welcoming, friendly and couldn’t do enough for our family. A very nice beautiful location with easy access to water parks, beaches and historical/culture interest staff are very knowledgeable about what’s on in the area. Very much recommend the hotel organising a boat trip as the caves are absolutely stunning. Our family had a great holiday and will be booking to go again. We’ll definitely book again."

"Beautiful property, quiet and serene however, if you don’t have a car, it would be tricky to get around if you are looking to explore. It is quite far from things. Paderne also looks like a deserted town and restaurants are always closed. "

"Fantastic hotel-clean, comfortable, modern rooms in a quiet rural setting. Short 10 minute drive to town. The breakfast was incredible-farm fresh and delicious. We cannot say enough positive things about Quinta da Luz…except that our stay was too short."

"Brilliant place for some October sun with great staff, good pool, stunning cliffs and beach, plus fresh gluten free buffet options daily. Only a 10min walk to a very well stocked local supermarket and many excellent local restaurants in Olhos dÁgua. The apartment was clean and spacious, and although a complimentary bottle of water was provided, it could do with a cafetiere/coffee machine (especially as complimentary tea, coffee, oil and salt/pepper is not provided). "Stayed for 4 nights, hotel in a great location. Easy access to beach, marina, shops, restaurants and a short walk into Quarteira. From the moment you enter, the staff are amazing. Large, comfortable rooms, restaurants, bars and general areas all immaculate. Great indoor and outdoor pools, spa and gym contained in beautiful grounds. B&B option includes a superb buffet breakfast, with large variety of foods available. Although located at bottom of marina and hotel was busy, very quiet at night with no noise, which was great."

"Excellent property, far exceeded our expectations. We were upgraded to sea view room at arrival without even asking. The front desk staff, Ricardo, Ana and Ines were extremely polite and helpful. The staff arranged a boat tour of the coastline immediately upon our arrival so we could take advantage of the weather. The only suggestions we have would be to improve the Azur Bar service and food and on notifying the staff they immediately addressed it. Breakfast options were excellent and views across the property are incredible. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay there again!"

"We selected the all inclusive buffet and it was amazing day after day. Sao was always welcoming and so was all the staff. The location is close enough to walk to the beach and restaurants. The backyard pool was pleasant to hang out around and read or have a drink. The rooms are a bit dated but clean and comfortable. Excellent stay of 2 weeks. "
